Our first port of call was Melbourne, but there aren't any photos from those few days.
We spent Christmas in Devonport with Morag's family and enjoyed a traditional Christmas roast prepared by Dorothea. Alison and John were there too, with Grace (John and Dorothea's favourite grand-daughter).
A few days later a gathering was organised, with a bunch of reprobates from Tasmania!
Morag had a side-trip to Hobart for a few days to visit friends and stayed with Jennifer and Lachlan.
We spent a few days in Sudney visiting Morag's sister Fiona and her boyfriend Dave, who were housesitting in Woolwich for Dave's mother (Elizabeth). Jonathan and Kate were there too.
Our first evening was spent sailing on the harbour in Dave's boat - an excellent trip!
We also managed to catch up with our ex-neighbours from Edinburgh (we drove them out!). Paul and Allison and Zoe and Jack.
We spent a few days in Payneville visiting Mal's brother Garry and his wife Lynette. They took us for a motorised cruise on the lake and around the canals (to sticky-beak at some of the grand houses).
All too soon the trip was over, and back to work for us!
