MOTORING ACCIDENTS.
TWO CHILDREN KILLED.
PINNED BY OVERTURNED CAR.
Clergyman and Girl Escape.
YEA, Wednesday.-In a motor-car accident this afternoon a boy and a girl, children of the Rev. E. F. Cameron, minister of Scots Church, Yea, were killed. The mishap occurred three miles from Glenburn, and 15 miles from Yea.
The car, which was returning from Melbourne, was being driven by Mr. Cameron, who was accompanied by his two daughters and a son. When travelling down an incline on the Yea-Glenburn road the car struck a tree-stump and overturned. The boy, aged 13 years, and the elder girl, aged 10 years, were killed instantly, the girl being pinned down by the windscreen and the boy by the back of the car. Mr. Cameron and his other daughter sustained slight injuries and shock.
The bodies of the dead children were brought to Yea, where an inquest will be held.
Mr. Cameron has been in charge of Scots Church for about two months. The church committee to-night decided to postpone the annual flower show, which was to have been opened to-morrow.

CAR OVERTURNS.
Two Children Killed.
YEA, Thursday. — A fatal motor accident took place on the Yea-Glenburn road, about three miles from Glenburn, yesterday afternoon. A motor car driven by Rev. E. F. . Cameron, minister of Scots church, Yea, turned completely over, and his eldest daughter, 13 years of age, and his eldest son, 12 years, were killed instantly.
Mr. Cameron and a younger daughter, who was also with him at the time of the accident, escaped with minor injuries and shock.
Mr. Cameron was returning from Melbourne to Yea after a visit to his relations. The accident is believed to have been caused by the car running off the road when going down an incline, and striking the stump of a tree. The car fell on top of the occupants. Mr. Cameron crawled from under the car, and pulled the youngest child from underneath, but he was unable to extricate the other two children. A man named Taylor, who was returning to his home on horseback heard the crash and screams, and rode for assistance. The bodies of the two children were brought into Yea.

FORMER GERALDTON RESIDENT
MINISTER OF ST JOHN'S CHURCH
The news contained in the foregoing message will be read with great, regret by many Geraldton people. The Rev. E. F. Cameron came to Geraldton
about 1916, and was minister of St John's Church, Eleanor Street, until 1919, when he was appointed to the church at Subiaco. Whilst at Subiaco he was clerk of the Perth Presbytery. Five or six years ago he left Western Australia for Victoria, where he held charges and recently he was inducted to the church at Yea. Mr Cameron had recently been married when he came to Geraldton, and two of his children were born here. Both Mrs Cameron and he were held in high esteem, and their departure was regretted not only by the members of their own community, but by the residents generally.
