The marriage of Mr Henry Herbert, third son of Mr and Mrs J. Holt, of the Moe Coffee Palace, to Ethel Harriet youngest daughter of Mrs Stratton, of Morwell, and the late Thomas Norton Stratton, took place in the Morwell Methodist Church on the 9th instant, the officiating minister being the Rev Mr Seamer. The bride wore a dress of rich ivory white silk, val. silk insertion and lace, with true-lovers' knots on bodice, and she also wore the customary wreath and veil. The bridesmaid (Miss Holt, of Moe. sister of the bridegroom) was attired in cream canvas voile, richly trimmed with satin ribbon and Paris lace. The train-bearers were the Misses Myrtle and Della Stratton, who were dressed in white organdi muslin, richly trimmed with lace Mr Sid. Holt acted as best man, and the bride was given away-by her brother (Mr Frank Stratton) The bride and bridesmaids carried bouquets of flowers. After the wedding ceremony was concluded, a wedding-tea was served at Mrs Stratton's residence, when the usual toasts were duly honored The bride's travelling dress, was pale grey Sicilian, silk braid trimmings and fine val. lace, with hat to match.
