Holt and Miss E Stratton, of Morwell, took place in the local Methodist church, on Wednesday last' the officiating clergyman being Rev. W. Seamer. The bride wore a dress of rich ivory white silk, Val. silk insertion and lace, with true lovers knots on bodice and skirt ; she also wore cus- tomary wreath and veil. The bridesmaid (Miss Holt, of Moe, sister of bridegroom) wore cream canvas voile, richly trimmed with satin ribbon and Paris lace. The train bearers were Misses Myrtle and Della Stratton who were dressed in white organdi muslin, richly trimmed with lace. Mr Syd. Holt acted as best man, and the bride was given away by her brother, Mr F. Stratton. The bride and bridesmaids carried boquets of flowers. The bride's travelling dress was pale grey secillian, silk braid trim- mings, and fine Val. lace, with hat to match. After both wedding ceremonies were concluded, a wedding tea was served at Mrs Stratton's residence, when the usual toasts were duly honoured. The presents included:— Bridegroom to Bride, pearl and ruby bracelet. Bride to Bridegroom, set of gold studs with sapphires Bridegroom to Bridesmaids, silver backed hair brush and comb. Bridegroom to Trainbarers, silver bangles. Mother of Bride, house linen. Mother and Father of Bridegroom, cheque, cut glass butter and jam dishes. Mr and Mr. F. Kendell, afternoon tea set and teapot. Miss Holt, lamp, pair vases. Mr J. Holt, handsome ruby sugar basin in silverstand. Mr Syd Holt, handsome cut glass biscuit-darrell silver mountings. Master T. Holt, hand painted vases. Misses Sarah and Gladis Holt pillow shams and cosy cover. Miss Stratton, cheque and ½ dozen oil paintings. Mr Collum, glove and handkerchief box. Miss Myrtle Stratton, jam dishes. Miss Della Stratton, sauce bottles. Master Norton Stratton, hair brush and comb. Mrs Alforda, point lace doyleys. Master W. Holt, tray cloth. Master G. Holt, vases. Master S. Holt, photo frames. Mr A. Rose, breakfast cruet. Mr E. W. Pascoe, set jugs. Mr D. G. Wolfe, honey jar in silver stand. Mr C. Whitmore, (Grandfather of Bridegroom), serviette rings. Mr F.
