On Wednesday last, Mr Collum, of Ararat, and Miss Stratton, of Morwell, were united in the bonds of wedlock, by the Rev. W. Seamer, in the local Methodist Church, which had been tastefully decorated for the occasion by friends. The bride, who was given away by Mr H. Puls (brother-in-law of bride), wore white taffeta silk, trained with rich applique trimmings and applique boquet on front of bodice She also wore the usual bridal wreath and veil. The bridesmaid (Miss Holt, of Moe) wore white canvas voile richly trimmed with satin ribbon and Paris lace. Misses Myrtle and Della Stratton were the train bearers. Boquets of flowers were carried by bride, bridesmaids and train bearers. Mr A. Rose acted as best man. The bride's travelling dress was mauve silk voile richly trimmed with Paris lace and silk braid trimmings, with hats to match. The presents included : Bridegroom to Bride, handsome diamond brooch. Bride to Bridegroom, handsome diamond scarf pin. Bridegroom to first Bridesmaid, handsome jewel case. Bridegroom to Trainbearere, brooches. Mrs Stratton, (mother of bride,) curtains, fan, and primer stove. Mr. and Mrs. Collum, (mother and father of bridegroom,) cheque, nickel fender and fire irons. Mr. and Mrs. A. Stratton, ornaments. Mr. S. Gran, Ararat, dinner set. Mr. A. Gran, Ararat, set carters and set dinner mats. Nurse Ingham, Ararat, handsome cushion. Nurse Carey, Ararat, beautiful egg shell china sweet dishes. Male Staff, Ararat Hospital, handsome cut glass six bottled dinner cruet. Hospital Patients, Ararat, massive silver stand, containing two cut glass dishes. Mrs. F. Kendell. Warragul. ---- Miss Myrtle Stratton, niece of bride, tray cloth. Miss Della and Norton Stratton, hair brushes and comb. Mrs H. Puls sister of bride, table centres. Mr. H. Pole, cheque.
