Andrew's Presbyterian Church, beautifully decorated for the occa- sion, was the setting for the marriage on January 12th, of Miss Dorothy Jean Holt, with Mr. Perc. Mooney. The Rev. Alan Thomson officiated. Given away by her, father. the bride, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Holt, Mor- well, carried a bouquet of frangipanni against her lovely period gown of white lace on tulle over taffetas, featuring a tulle yoke on the lace bodice, and fully trained skirt caught in front with orange blossom over a deep flounce of rows of frilled tulle. An embroidered tulle veil was held by a coronet of orange blossom. As Matron of Honor, Mrs: Una Holt was frocked in mist blue lace and tulle over taffeta, the lace bodice with appli- que on the transparent yoke, and tulle skirt, with lace applique, over a deep frilled hemline of the underskirt. She wore a matching Juliet cap and carried a bouquet of pale golden rosebuds and pink gladioli. Lorraine Holt was a charming flower girl in her old world gown of .'.n figured organdie, with a cir:; _ of flowers in her hair. She wore lace mittens and carried a basket of pastel flowers. The bridegroom, who is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Mooney, Erica, had Mr. Ron Hannon as best man. Miss Hicks was the organist. The reception was held at the Masonic Hall. Morwell. Mrs. Holt wore a beaded jacket suit of powder blue, with lavender hat and veil, and shoulder spray of orchids. Mrs. Mooney's silk frock in blue and gold tonings was worn with a black hat, and spray of orchids. On leaving later for the honeymoon the bride wore silver fox furs with her frock of pink crepe, and black accessories.
